Baked Mostaccioli Casserole

Cook’s Note: You may either make the pasta sauce from fresh tomatoes and Mrs. Wages Pasta Sauce Seasoning Mix or buy prepared pasta sauce at the store to save time.

Prep: 55 minutes
Yield: 9 servings
Bake: 25 minutes 

Ingredients
8 oz uncooked mostaccioli pasta
1 lb ground beef
3 cups prepared Mrs. Wages Pasta Sauce
8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup chopped zucchini
2 cups (8 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 
  2. Cook mostaccioli according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.  Stir in the pasta sauce, mushrooms and zucchini.  Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 30 minutes. Stir in mostaccioli.
  4. Transfer mostaccioli mixture to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish; sprinkle with cheese.  Bake, uncovered,   for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
