Berry French Toast Bake

Directions

1Coat a 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish with cooking spray.

2Place bread cubes in prepared dish.

3In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, half-and-half cream, honey, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Pour over bread cubes. Cover and refrigerated for at least 5 hours or overnight.

4Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

5Preheat oven to 350°F.

6Stir bread mixture in baking dish to incorporate all the liquid. Spread Mrs. Wages® Forest Berry Pie Filling over top. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.

7Place oats and brown sugar in a small bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake, uncovered, for 15-18 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

8Garnish with fresh berries and whipped cream, if desired.

1 loaf (1 lb) French bread, cut into 1-in. cubes

7 eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup half-and-half cream

1 Tbsp honey

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

2½ cups prepared Mrs. Wages® Forest Berry Pie Filling

1/2 cup old fashioned oats

1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar

3 Tbsp cold butter, cubed

Whipped cream, optional

Mixed berries optional
