Football Pizza Bites

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 425⁰F.

2Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray; set aside.

3On a lightly floured surface, unroll pie pastry.  Using a 4-in. round cookie cutter placed halfway on edge of pastry, cut 4-in. x 3-in. football shapes.  Repeat will remaining dough.

4Place half of football cutouts onto prepared baking sheet.  Spread 1½ tsp prepared Mrs. Wages® Pizza Sauce on each; top with 2 slices of pepperoni and a few pieces of mozzarella.  In a small bowl, whisk egg and water.  Brush edges of football with egg mixture.  Top with remaining football cutouts.  Press edges down to seal with a fork.  Use a knife to cut slits in the top to resemble laces.   Bush tops with egg mixture.

5Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.  Serve with remaining prepared Mrs. Wages® Pizza Sauce.
