Spiced Apple Pork Loin Roast

Directions

1Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper.

2In a large skillet, brown roast in oil on all sides. Cool slightly. Cut 16 slits into pork roast, about 2 inches deep. Cut 8 apple slices in half and gently push into slits.

3Place pork in a large slow cooker. Top with onion and remaining apples.

4In small bowl, combine the Mrs. Wages® Spiced Apple Mix and water; pour over roast. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until pork is tender.

5Remove pork and apples; keep warm. Place spiced mixture into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until sauce is reduced by half. Remove from the heat; stir in apples. Serve warm over roast.
