Sweet and Spicy Thai Chili Meatballs

Sweet and Spicy Thai Chili Meatballs

Directions

1In a medium bowl, stir together Mrs. Wages® Thai Chili Ready Made Pickling Mix and sugar until sugar is dissolved.

2Remove ½ cup of mixture in a separate measuring cup. Add in flour, stirring rapidly, add back to the medium bowl, and set aside.

3In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat until shimmering. Add in bell peppers and cook for 3-5 minutes until softened. Add in pineapple and pickling mixture from step 1 and bring to a slow boil.

4Reduce heat to medium-low and add frozen meatballs to the pan, cover and simmer for 25 minutes (until internal temperature meets frozen meatball manufacturer’s instructions), stirring frequently.

5Serve over rice and enjoy!

1 - 32 oz Bag of Frozen Meatballs (64 meatballs per bag)

1 - 20 oz Can Crushed Pineapple

1 tbsp Olive Oil

1 tbsp All Purpose Flour

1/2 cup Granulated White Sugar

1 Mrs. Wages® Thai Chili Ready Made Pickling Mix Pouch

1 cup Red Bell Pepper, ½” diced
