In a medium skillet, melt the butter and sauté the corn for a few minutes on medium heat.
Stir in the rest of the ingredients, except the toppings.
Bring to a simmer.
Simmer, stirring often for 4 minutes, then remove from heat.
Pour into a serving bowl if desired or serve it bubbling in the skillet and add the toppings.
