Sweet Slow Cooked Ribs
Use Mrs. Wages® Chili Base and your slow cooker to make these delicious BBQ ribs featuring a sweet flavor and tender rib meat you can only achieve through slow-cooking.
Directions
Place ribs in a slow cooker.
In a large bowl, combine the onion, chili base, brown sugar, vinegar, orange juice, molasses, Worcestershire sauce and garlic. Pour over ribs. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until rib meat is tender.
Remove ribs and keep warm; skim fat. Transfer sauce to a small saucepan. Combine flour and water; stir into sauce. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with ribs.
